SAVO Named 2007 Chicago Innovation Award Winner
On-Demand Technology Singled Out for Outstanding Innovation

Chicago, IL – The Chicago Sun-Times and Kuczmarski & Associates announced SAVO as the 2007 Innovation Award winner, a distinction honoring the most significant innovations introduced by Chicago-area companies in the past year.

The competition, co-founded by the Chicago Sun-Times and Kuczmarski & Associates, awards organizations whose products and services uniquely satisfy unmet needs in the marketplace.

John Aiello, SAVO’s co-founder and CEO, accepted the award at the Goodman Theater. “Innovation is the cornerstone of our business,” explained Aiello. “Since SAVO’s inception, we have remained ever focused on delivering creative solutions that address our customers’ needs.” Added Drew Larsen, co-founder, President, and chief visionary behind SAVO’s technology: “Our commitment to innovation has never been stronger than it is today. In addition to SAVO, this year’s winners include Abbott Laboratories, Chicago Department of Transportation, driFIRE, Experiencia Immersive Learning Center, Fellowes, OVATION Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Radio Flyer, S&C Electric Company, and SkinnyCorp. Winners were honored October 22, 2007 at the Goodman Theater.

The contest was open to any type of organization with national or divisional headquarters in northern Illinois, northwestern Indiana, southeastern Wisconsin, or southwestern Michigan. Winners were selected from a pool of 249 nominees.
